Overview

Position Overview: Merchandising Execution Associates (MEAs) perform in-store merchandising service activities to enhance the customer experience, execute merchandising strategies, and drive sales and inventory turns.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret directions to set merchandise to planograms, project instructions, program service requirements and general service guidelines
  • Straighten, clean, and merchandise products to present them in a visually appealing manner
  • Maintain copies of the most recent planogram and keep display materials/signage up to date
  • Build displays and fixtures using basic hand tools
  • Maintain, order, and install display materials/signage/brochures
  • Conduct accurate price and label changes; replace incorrect, damaged, or missing price labels
  • Maintain aisles and use store systems to access merchandising reports; read, interpret, and act on findings
  • Maintain bay service records and other required documentation
  • Execute one-off projects as directed by store, district, and regional leadership
Customer Service
  • Maintain aisle cleanliness to ensure merchandise is accessible and customers can navigate the store
  • Partner with store leadership to markdown damaged or unsellable merchandise
  • Answer questions about the store and products; assist customers in finding products that fit their needs
Other
  • Inspect returned and damaged items for Return to Vendor
  • Follow standard operating and safety procedures
  • Complete assigned training curriculum
