Overview

We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, hard‑working individual who can take on a variety of tasks in our fitness facility. Excellent customer service skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are crucial. Communication is essential, verbally, non‑verbally and in writing. Workday is typically a solo shift but we encourage a supportive team atmosphere that helps each other and continually builds everyone up. Positivity and inclusivity are essential elements.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome everyone who enters the gym and tour and discuss membership types with members and guests.
  • Answer phone calls and take appropriate actions.
  • Make smoothies, attend to front‑desk duties, and perform light laundry.
  • Maintain front desk, pro shop, restrooms and workout areas.
  • Enter memberships and sell a variety of retail items using the computer system.
  • Manage inventory and document tracking.
Qualifications
  • Basic math skills.
  • Computer skills and ability to learn new programs.
  • Retail cash handling experience an asset.
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
Schedule & Compensation

This is a flexible position ranging from 8 to 20 hours per week with the ability to pick up some weekend shifts and vacation/sick coverage.

Compensation: $19.00 – $22.00 per hour.
