Elna Pediatrics, part of the ELNA Medical Group, the most trusted network of health services and medical clinics in Montreal and in Quebec, currently has an urgent need for an experienced and fully bilingual Medical Receptionist for their healthcare complex in DDO.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm

Responsibilities

The Medical Receptionist will interact with the patients in a professional manner, check and return voicemails, book appointments, and respond to inquiries. S/he will check in patients in and confirm contact information. They will answer doctor and patient requests showing empathy and decorum in their all their interactions with patients, physicians, as well as their fellow co-workers. They may be assigned other pertinent duties as required.

For each shift, the Medical Receptionist will be assigned a series of tasks s/he is to accomplish, keeping in mind these duties might change throughout the day (or across days), depending on circumstances.

The ideal candidate will be a true “team player” and strive to accomplish the work as part of an efficient team. This flexible approach will ensure tasks are completed in order of priority and allows for even workload distribution.

Required Skills
  • Minimum three (1) yearexperience in Customer Service (essential)
  • Self-motivated and autonomous
  • Punctual
  • Excellent computer skills; at ease working on a computer for 5or more hours a day
  • Ability to remain courteous but also efficient in exchanges with patients
  • Excel under pressure, able to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work on the phone in an efficient and professional manner
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and spoken)
  • Able to produce accurate work, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to work with sensitive information where confidentiality and tact are paramount
