Job summary

A leading healthcare company in Canada is seeking a motivated Medical Office Assistant to join their team. This part-time role involves greeting patients, managing appointments, and providing administrative support to facilitate excellent patient care. Successful candidates will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team. Experience with EMR systems and customer service is preferred. This position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21.00 - $23.00 CAD.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are a must.
  • Experience with EMR system OSCAR and MSP billing is an asset.

Position Summary:

The Company is currently searching for a motivated team player to join the exciting, fast-growing company. You will be working in a team-based environment to support physicians in delivering excellent patient care. If you love helping people, this job is for you.

What you will be doing:

Administrative duties - answer calls and greet patients in a helpful, respectful, and efficient manner, schedule appointments, manage referrals, result management and handle billing. Lab Duties - include collecting and preparing laboratory specimens or perform basic laboratory tests on the premises, dispose of contaminated supplies, and sterilize medical instruments.Patient Care duties – Coordinate patient care through the clinic: checking in, prepping, escorting to exam rooms, preparing exam or treatment rooms, answering questions, providing post-appointment service, monitoring the waiting room.General duties – Ensure to keep patient information confidential and secure at all times. Perform all other related clinical, administrative tasks or special tasks as required by clinic management.
