Medical Office Assistant

In a beautifully designed facility that specializes in women’s health ultrasounds, we are looking for a 1.0 FTE interested in providing exceptional care to women and their families. We focus on quality, excellence, and patient‑centered comprehensive medicine. Our positive mindset team consists of Maternal‑Fetal Medicine subspecialists, specialized women’s health nurses and sonographers, receptionists, MOAs, wellness practitioners, and managers. State‑of‑the‑art diagnostic equipment, software, efficiency systems, and patient amenities. Some training may be available on‑site for the successful candidate.

Job Type

1.0 FTE, Permanent position after probationary period

Hours

Monday‑Friday from 8:00‑4:30 or 8:30‑5:00

Salary

starting at $24 per hour depending on experience

Start Date

ASAP, Negotiable

Duties overall (not limited to)
  • Help patients through the clinic.
  • Working with multiple software systems.
  • Ability to do room turnover.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.
  • General tidying and improvement of patient workflow.
  • Opening and closing protocol for clinic.
Requirements
  • MOA/ Unit Clerk certification/ medical receptionist training or experience from an accredited institution or higher required
  • 1+ years of proven clerical or customer service work experience
  • Prior experience in a diagnostic facility is an asset.
  • Prior obstetrical experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment.
  • Attention to details is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
