A regional health authority in Canada is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant. The role involves performing laboratory procedures, specimen collection, and clerical duties. Candidates should have a Grade 12 education and complete a recognized Laboratory Assistant training program, along with effective communication and organizational skills. This position prioritizes patient care and may require travel.

Travel may be a requirement of this position. Transportation arrangements must meet the operational requirements of the Vancouver Island Health Authority in accordance with the service assignment.
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 12, successful completion of a recognized Laboratory Assistant training program plus one (1) year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid BC Class 5 Vehicle Licence.
