Job Title: Medical Diagnostic Sonographer

Pay: $40.83–$50.94 per hour

Join Our Team as a Medical Diagnostic Sonographer!

BeGlobal is hiring skilled and compassionate Sonographers for a private radiology clinic expanding to include a state-of-the-art ultrasound service in Kamloops, BC, launching in May 2025. With three new ultrasound machines and a focus on work/life balance, we offer daytime-only, flexible hours across full-time, part-time, and casual positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct ultrasound examinations per physician orders, following established protocols.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, addressing their concerns with compassion.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment independently.
  • Capture and analyze high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for accurate diagnoses.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure equipment safety and hygiene.
  • Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Diploma from a recognized Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
  • Certification with Sonography Canada (or equivalent).
  • Experience in clinical settings is an asset, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Ability to handle 8-12 cases per day with excellent time management.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care.
  • A team player who thrives under pressure.
