Qualifications

• At least 5 years of minerals process plant design experience.
• Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations.
• Engineering delivery experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design.
• Provide project review of mechanical deliverables.
• Coordinate designs and drafts people.

Skills

High level communication skills – written and verbal

Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment

Ability to produce study estimates

Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up

Extensive industry contacts and ability to win confidence of Clients through business development

Education

Industry related higher education degree

Job Location :

Play a pivotal role in managing and coordinating mechanical engineering projects, overseeing project execution, and ensuring successful delivery while maintaining high-quality standards and meeting client requirements.

Core Duties and Responsibilities :

• Develop mechanical engineering deliverables including package engineering, calculations and plant design
• Provide project review of mechanical deliverables
• Coordinate designs and drafts people
• Review progress and schedule
• Adhere to all CPC Engineering and CPC Project Design policies, systems, procedures and quality management requirements

Education and Experience :

• Industry related higher education degree
• At least 5 years of minerals process plant design experience
• Knowledge of a range of processes and unit operations
• Engineering delivery experience
• Work in a team environment. Allocate work to others and monitor the progress thereof

Skills and Abilities

• High level communication skills – written and verbal
• Strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft office environment
• Ability to produce study estimates
• Ability to manage studies and small site projects, including variation management
• Excellent organisational and time management skills for systems and follow up
• Knowledge of databases and version control
• Attention to detail, excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation

• Willingness to travel if required
