Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Lead Engineer (MLE) to join our client, a global player in the transportation sector.

  • Lead the development and integration of mechanical installations.
  • Manage design requirements and ensure compliance for validation and certification.
  • Lead the definition of interfaces, space allocation, and installation part design.
  • Supervise design teams and promote collaboration.
  • Support initial train assembly reviews and production phases.
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the field.
Qualifications
  • BSc/MSc degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of mechanical engineering applied to railway products
  • Knowledge of design requirements, validation and certification processes
  • Familiarity with interface definition, space allocation, and installation part design
  • OIQ membership is an asset
  • Bilingual in French and English. Knowledge of a language other than French is an asset for collaborating with our international partners, suppliers, colleagues, and customers. In Quebec, French remains the primary working language within our company.
