Qualifications

In this role, you will:
  • Participate in and adhere to health and safety programs and policies
  • Support the Project Management team in evaluating vendor proposals, progressing designs, completing the project framework documents, support RFP's, scheduling, cost control, change management, contractor management, construction execution, and commissioning
  • Managing projects at different stages, including scoping, feasibility, execution and completion
  • Participate in multi‑disciplinary professional teams, support activity projects including but not limited to major building renovation, and replacement of underground waterlines
  • Seek ways to improve our process by collaborating with the engineering team, operations and consultants on new process development, quality assurance initiatives, day‑to‑day troubleshooting, and evaluation test work
  • Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Requirements:
  • Working towards an Undergraduate degree in Civil, Projects Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a passion for project-based work
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic industrial work environment with a range of engineering, technical and operational personnel
  • Motivated self‑starter with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously
  • Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with a capability to communicate complex ideas to all levels
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and a solid understanding of AutoCAD and Solidworks would be advantageous
