Our company is rooted in family values, a bold vision and relentless determination to continuously raise the bar and make a positive difference in consumers' lives. Founded in 1972, we’ve grown organically from a one-person import wine business into an international drinks company. Our hallmarks include a portfolio of iconic beverage brands—White Claw® Hard Seltzer, Dillon's Small Batch Distillers, and Olé Cocktail Co.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager, Materials Planning, the Materials Planner will be responsible for ensuring that the required materials are available for RTD & LRB production. You will forecast, purchase, expedite and receive purchase orders, build strong relationships with suppliers, reconcile inventory, implement cost savings initiatives, and collaborate with the Production Planner to align production timing with materials availability. This role can either be based in Toronto of Vancouver.

Materials Planning

  • Maintain item segmentation and adjust ordering to strategically match each item’s classification

  • Track and implement actions to meet various KPIs including inventory $ on hand, purchase price variances vs. standards, inventory health and indirect spend vs. budget
  • Act as the single point of contact between suppliers and co-packers; stepping in when inventory shortages, transportations delays or production plan changes could cause production downtime
  • Master data management including maintaining accurate item attributes in the ERP
  • Identify and act on improvement opportunities in day-to-day operations
  • Other related duties as assigned
