Overview

You will play a critical role in managing production scheduling, materials planning, and inventory control. This role requires strong analytical ability, ERP proficiency, and hands-on factory planning experience to ensure production efficiency, cost control, and timely order fulfillment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and monitor production schedules to meet sales demand and delivery timelines.
  • Review and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and work orders to ensure accuracy and alignment with production requirements.
  • Conduct materials requirements planning (MRP), ensuring timely procurement and allocation of raw materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement effective stock control for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
  • Analyse material usage, wastage, and consumption trends to improve efficiency.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing goods, including coordination with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Generate and analyse ERP reports for production performance, capacity planning, and material availability.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, operational, and cost-control standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience in factory production planning and materials management.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of BOMs, work orders, materials analysis, and MRP processes.
  • Hands-on experience in inventory control and warehouse/materials management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP reporting tools.
  • Detail-oriented, meticulous, and highly organised.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
