Job description

Marshall Canada is currently seeking a Master Production Scheduler to join our team in Moncton, NB. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for creating the MPS based on production capacity, materials availability and contractual requirements. The Master Production Scheduler obtains agreement from production, procurement, engineering, and project teams before execution of the MPS.

Your responsibilities in the role:

  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on production capacity material availability, contractual requirements, and forecast.
  • Coordinate and communicate with various departments, including production, engineering, purchasing, and programs, to ensure alignment of schedules and design changes.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to address any issues or delays.
  • Analyze production data and forecasts to make informed scheduling decisions.
  • Lead regular production planning meetings to review schedules, identify bottlenecks, and discuss solutions.
  • Prepare reports and provide updates to management on production status, potential issues, and proposed solutions.
  • Continuously improve scheduling processes and systems for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to production scheduling.
  • Work closely with production to establish, analyze, plan and evolve a stable production schedule.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Apply if you have most of the following:

  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or a related role.
  • Excellent understanding of ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of IFS system.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
  • APICS or similar certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001.

Must be eligible to meet the requirements of export control regulations, including the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and Canadian government security requirements.
