As the Marketing Manager (Events & Programs), you’ll report directly to the VP of Marketing. You’ll support events while also helping with social media, content creation, campaigns, and day‑to‑day marketing execution. This is a hands‑on role, and you’ll often jump in wherever the marketing team needs support. You’ll work closely with demand generation, product marketing, design, sales, and customer success in a collaborative environment. This role plays an important cross‑functional part in how we show up in the market, how we support campaigns, and how we execute the programs that drive awareness and pipeline.

Our ideal candidate would be located in the Greater Toronto Area. We are a remote‑first company with a head‑office in Toronto. We don’t mandate team members to come in on a particular schedule, however we encourage team members to come into the office to foster connection with their colleagues on a schedule that works for them personally.

What you’ll do
  • Plan and manage SC’s presence at industry events, including logistics, vendor coordination, booth preparation, shipping, and onsite support
  • Build event briefs, timelines, checklists, and post‑event summaries
  • Support demand generation with coordinated event follow‑up and campaign execution
  • Own day‑to‑day social media posting and scheduling
  • Create and repurpose short‑form marketing content for social, email, landing pages, and other channels
  • Support campaign execution with copy, simple assets, and coordination
  • Work with design to produce needed graphics or event materials
  • Help keep messaging consistent across events, social, and marketing programs
  • Manage timelines, stay organized, and keep cross‑functional partners aligned
  • Pitch in on broader marketing tasks as needed to support team priorities
What you’ll need to succeed
  • Experience managing events, either in‑house or through agency work
  • Comfort writing short‑form marketing content and social posts
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects without dropping the ball
  • A proactive working style, able to anticipate needs and keep things moving
  • Solid communication skills and confidence working with cross‑functional teams
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or cybersecurity is a plus, but not required
