About The Role

Hybrid: 3 days a week in our Laval office.

At Matador, our Marketing team plays a central role in shaping how dealerships experience our brand and understand the value of our AI‑powered platform. As our Marketing Manager, you’ll support and execute our marketing strategy, strengthen our product storytelling, and drive revenue impact through coordinated projects and high‑quality content.

This is a highly collaborative, hands‑on role suited for someone who thrives in a startup environment and enjoys bringing structure to fast‑moving initiatives.

We’re looking for a marketer with mid‑level experience who can balance hands‑on execution with strategic thinking, while comfortably managing initiatives and external partners. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, data‑driven, and collaborative. It requires the ability to operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and work closely with teams across the organization.

You’ll also play a key role in coordinating work across our extended team of contractors, vendors, and internal contributors to ensure smooth execution of campaigns, creative projects, and ongoing initiatives.

What You’ll Do
Go‑to‑Market Strategy
  • Support the development and execution of go‑to‑market plans for new product features, launches, and dealership market segments.
  • Collaborate with Product and Sales to ensure positioning reflects dealership needs and communicates the value of our unified AI platform.
  • Prepare launch content, messaging frameworks, and internal enablement materials.
Content, Messaging and Brand Storytelling
  • Write clear, compelling marketing assets including website copy, case studies, landing pages, pitch decks, emails, and video scripts.
  • Create persona‑specific messaging for dealership owners, general managers, BDC managers, and service leaders.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and ensure all content aligns with product capabilities and customer outcomes.
  • Coordinate with designers, videographers, writers, and other contractors to deliver high‑quality creative output.
Website, SEO And Digital Experience
  • Manage updates to the company website using WordPress, including content changes, optimization, and collaboration with external developers when needed.
  • Improve SEO performance through on‑page optimization, keyword planning, and coordinated technical SEO efforts.
  • Strengthen our visibility in AI‑driven search results by applying Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices and structuring content so AI tools can accurately understand and surface information about Matador.
  • Monitor site engagement and identify opportunities to improve user experience, discoverability, and conversion performance.
Demand Generation
  • Plan and support multi‑channel campaigns across email, paid digital, social, webinars, and events.
  • Build and maintain audience segments, nurture flows, and campaign calendars that focus on lead quality and conversion.
  • Work with Sales to ensure leads are routed correctly and tracked effectively in HubSpot.
Product Marketing
  • Support product positioning for our AI Sales Agent, AI Service Agent, Call AI, and automation suite.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and assist in the development of value‑prop frameworks, competitor comparisons, and objection‑handling guides.
  • Create adoption‑focused content that showcases dealership outcomes, ROI improvements, and workflow benefits.
Project and Contractor Coordination
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and communication across multiple marketing contractors.
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives across internal teams to ensure smooth execution from concept to delivery.
  • Track project status and proactively identify and address potential blockers.
Public Relations and External Communications
  • Draft and coordinate press releases, media updates, and external announcements.
  • Support participation in webinars, automotive trade events, and partnership initiatives.
  • Strengthen brand visibility through strategic PR efforts that drive awareness and SEO impact.
Analytics and Reporting
  • Track campaign performance, website engagement, SEO progress, and pipeline contribution.
  • Use analytics tools, including Google Analytics, to refine targeting, messaging, and spend.Deliver regular updates to Product and Sales leadership on performance and priorities.
What We’re Looking For
Experience and Industry Knowledge
  • Strong understanding of product marketing, demand generation, and digital marketing fundamentals.
  • Experience working in fast‑paced, high‑growth environments.
  • Automotive industry experience is an asset, not a requirement.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS marketing, ideally within AI, automation, or enterprise software is an asset, not a requirement.
Technical And Creative Skills
  • Experience with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SEO strategies and on‑page optimization.
  • Familiarity with AEO strategies to improve visibility in AI‑driven search results.
  • Ability to support and oversee video content creation for campaigns and product storytelling.
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Experience with HubSpot (CRM and marketing automation) is an asset.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, compelling messages.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills and the ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences.
  • A strong sense of empathy and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments, especially in a fast‑moving startup environment.
