Overview

Be among the first 25 applicants. Do you enjoy working with machinery and have a meticulous eye for quality? If so, join us as a Softgel Manufacturing Support Technician for our Okanagan location. In this role you will be ensuring the successful set up, operation and maintenance of our Softgel capsule manufacturing machinery.

We are a growing BC business and one of Canada’s leading manufacturers of nutritional supplements, dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of our customers. This position is open to all qualified applicants who are legally entitled to work in the country in which this job is located.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain SoftGel encapsulation machinery to maximize efficiency.
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Rebuild machinery components and complete repairs using a variety of hand tools.
  • Perform changeovers, including tear downs and reassembly.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repairs during production in a time-sensitive manner.
  • Work a two-week alternating shift of Wednesday - Saturday and Thursday - Saturday, 6:00 PM – 6:10 AM.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience safely operating, setting up, and repairing machinery with a diverse selection of hand tools.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Cooperative, positive attitude with good communication with coworkers and management.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work well independently or in a team as needed.
