Job Description

The Manufacturing Clerk reports to the Plant Manager and is responsible for performing a variety of routine to moderately complex administrative tasks, including receiving products into the JD Edwards database, data entry, and providing administrative support to staff as needed.

Job Responsibilities
  • Create, enter data, and maintain multiple spreadsheets in Excel.
  • Accurately enter received products into JD Edwards in a timely manner.
  • Answer phone calls in a professional manner and direct phone calls appropriately
  • Greet and assist visitors at the Plant.
  • Drive to Ashcroft weekly to pick up supplies, check the mail, etc.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve any issues/discrepancies once invoices are received.
  • Maintain and organize polices and prepare monthly meeting packages.
  • Create orders for shipment and release railcars when required.
  • Close work orders as needed.
  • Conduct orientations for truck drivers and contractors
  • Collaborate and support the Plant with data management, analytics, and reporting.
  • Create purchase requisitions, maintain all purchase orders, and receive invoices as required.
  • Maintain a neat and organized work environment.
  • Schedule and coordinate with carriers for pickup of products at Plant in a timely and efficient matter and maintain shipping functions.
  • Perform other administrative duties including but not limited to daily filing/organizing documents, maintaining office supplies, recording meeting minutes, and generating reports.
  • Manage and coordinate plant events
  • Support HSE with maintaining SDS and other administrative tasks
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education or an equivalent combination of related experience
  • Prior experience in an administrative support role is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and familiar with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and function effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
Hours/Days/Schedule

The hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday {40 hours, day shift}.
