DIVE IN AND MAKE A SPLASH EVERY DAY, BY :

Building and guiding Sandboxs ESG strategy to align with our values, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices.

Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on ESG metrics to support transparent disclosures and inform decision-making.

Collaborating across departments to integrate ESG principles into underwriting, claims, and operational processes.

Staying ahead of emerging ESG trends, regulations, and stakeholder expectations to keep Sandbox future ready.

Supporting reinsurance strategy by partnering with actuarial and risk teams to assess exposures and design optimal reinsurance structures.

Monitoring reinsurance recoverables and maintain alignment with financial reporting standards.

Leading due diligence for acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships, evaluating both financials and strategic / ESG fit.

Coordinating integration planning and performance tracking post-transaction to ensure long-term success.

Preparing clear, compelling reports and presentations for Sandboxs leadership and board committees.

Collaborating with compliance, risk, strategy, and finance teams to align on capital planning and corporate priorities.

WHAT YOU BRING TO SANDBOX :

Education : Bachelors degree in commerce, business administration, management, environmental science, sustainability, or related field.

Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in an ESG, sustainability, or corporate responsibility role with a focus on strategic analysis and reporting.

Financial Wizard : Extensive financial knowledge and understanding required to link sustainability KPIs to corporate financial performance.

Insurance Pro : Experience and understanding of functional and technical knowledge of insurance underwriting, claims and reinsurance. Direct experience within the insurance or financial services sector is an asset.

Problem-solving skills : Ability to visualize, articulate, conceptualize, or solve problems by making logical and reasonable decisions given the available information.

Interpersonal & communication skills : Strong collaborator with the ability to clearly communicate complex ideas, facilitate cross-functional teamwork, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
