Manager, Research Operations will work as part of a highly motivated and experienced leadership group with a focus on establishing and optimizing internal research support functions such as approvals, contracts, grants development etc. The successful candidate will bring significant expertise in areas of research administration and will have the ability to influence the anticipated organizational structures, processes, and systems within the assigned areas of support. The goal is to create a compliant, supportive, low-barrier environment that permits the researchers to deliver on the mission of our organization and enhance the efficiency and throughput of high-quality research.
This role coordinates the effective utilization of resources and space, supports researchers by facilitating access to support functions, and collaborates with clinical leaders to integrate research with clinical care. Responsibilities encompass human resource management, ensuring adherence to safety standards, compliance with regulations, and overseeing budgetary and financial operations. Additionally, the Manager contributes to innovation and strategic planning, cultivates partnerships, and upholds the organization’s academic mandate while implementing best practices to foster a productive and safe research environment.
