Responsibilities
  1. Operations Management
    • Oversee day-to-day operations of the grain facility, including receiving, grading, production, storing, and shipping of pulses products.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure timely and accurate distribution.
    • Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
  2. Team Leadership
    • Hire, train, and manage a team of employees, including operators, maintenance personnel, and other general labour staff.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
    • Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  3. Safety and Compliance
    • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all employees adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
    • Stay current with industry regulations, environmental standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
    • Implement safety training programs and conduct regular safety meetings.
  4. Maintenance and Equipment
    • Coordinate maintenance and repairs of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prolong equipment lifespan.
  5. Quality Control
    • Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that grains meet established quality standards.

Qualifications
