About This Opportunity

The Planning Operational Excellence Manager plays a critical role in enhancing the performance, scalability, and efficiency of the end‑to‑end planning organization. This role leads strategic initiatives to improve processes, tools, and capabilities across demand, supply, capacity, inventory planning and Transportation. Acting as a catalyst for continuous improvement and digital transformation, the manager partners with cross‑functional teams to strengthen planning governance, standard work, and business rhythms such as S&OP and IBP.

Responsibilities
  • Drive automation and digital transformation of planning workflow, leveraging technology to improve accuracy.
  • Identify, assess, and execute process improvement opportunities across demand, supply, planning and transportation
  • Lead change management activities to support the adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support and/or lead cross functional planning related projects that involve teams such as Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Commercial.
  • Strengthen the planning governance model and ensure consistent execution of S&OP/IBP cycles.
  • Train planning teams on new standards, workflows, and system capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, problem solving, and collaboration.
  • Lead change management activities to support the adoption of new processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support leaders in embedding best practices across regions, business units, and planning functions.
  • Define, monitor, and continuously improve KPI frameworks across planning (forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, inventory turns, adherence).
  • Build dashboards, Loss trees and reporting standards to improve visibility and accountability
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain planning, S&OP/IBP, or operational excellence roles.
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation projects.
  • Ability to influence diverse stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement, Lean/OpEx, or digital transformation initiatives.
