Reporting to the Director or designate, the Manager Operations & Innovation is responsible for developing and maintaining a centralized and coordinated project management capability to support the program. The Manager leads a diverse team that provides change and project management best practices, standard operating policies and procedures as well as providing appropriate training, mentoring and coaching of team members in change and project management principles. The Manager is responsible for resource alignment of team staff, management of vendor contracts and centralized communications with clients team members, program leadership and Island Health stakeholders including the development and coordination of evaluation and the production of internal and external reports.
Education, Training And Experience
A level of Education, training and experience equivalent to a Master\'s degree in a field such as Business, Organizational Development, Project Management, or Leadership, and ten (10) years related experience including leading change initiatives and working with interdisciplinary approaches in a health care setting including several years as a project manager or project coordinator. Active PMP designation preferred or in the process of obtaining within 18 months of start date.
