Qualifications
- At least 5 years of marketing/communications experience in a similar capacity
- Highly driven to meet, if not exceed expectations
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills
- Outgoing personality, team player, resourceful and meticulous
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Hotel experience is a must
Daily Tasks – Marketing
- Assist in the development of marketing and communications strategies and initiatives
- Play a significant role in developing the hotel Marketing budget and maintain budget control
- Manage coordination of marketing and communications campaigns/activities to leverage reach/results
- Determine overall marketing campaign ROI, monitor and review the response rates to improve and take corrective measures (where applicable)
- Communicate and coordinate with internal departments, including but not limited to Revenue, Food & Beverage, Sales, Catering and Finance
- Coordinate advertising and advertorial activities with third‑party agencies
- Conduct competition checks, benchmarking and follow up on market trends on a regular basis
- Prepare monthly marketing communications report
Digital Marketing
- Manage website content creation and updates
- Offer creations on brand.com, and test on booking engine to ensure offers are bookable
- Ensure content and images on third‑party websites are maintained
- Be responsible for planning, implementing and managing company's overall SEO strategy
- Coordinate with culinary team for content and images for online menu
- Create visuals for in‑house digital screens, in collaboration with the graphic designer
- Manage content on Tripadvisor, Google My Business and Trivago
- Work with Corporate Digital Marketing team to define PPTOR campaigns and review campaign reports
Social Media Marketing
- Develop editorial calendar, images/videos and postings on the hotel and Food & Beverage social media pages
- Create videos for social media pages, in collaboration with the graphic designer
- Develop creative social media campaigns for impactful brand awareness
- Increase following and engagement on social media pages
- Analyze engagement performance for boosting
- Manage budget for social media activities
- Respond to enquiries on social media pages
- Respond to feedback on selected OTA sites, in collaboration with Front Office and Food & Beverage departments
Media and Influencer Engagement
- Ensure press kit is up to date with the latest news and offerings
- Handle media distribution and tracking, media visits/stays, media enquiries, and site tours
- Communicate social media handles and handles for influencers
- Maintain media, KOL and influencer contact list
- Coordinate media and influencer events
- Oversee filming and photoshoot activities, in collaboration with the graphic designer
- Manage monthly media and influencer activities report
Collateral
- Review job orders from all departments, and develop content for collateral creation
- Support in promotional and marketing efforts through the creation of all marketing materials, branding and logo items ensuring all branding and hotel guidelines are adhered to, in collaboration with the graphic designer
