A leading automotive supplier in Windsor, Ontario, is looking for a Millwright with a Journeyman’s Ticket and at least 5 years of experience. The role involves equipment repairs, preventive maintenance, and new installations. Candidates should possess an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic diploma and have experience with machine shop tools and welding. Excellent communication and a commitment to safety are essential. Qualifications

• Millwright/Journeyman’s Ticket is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the trade.
• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic college diploma required.
• Experience operating machine shop tools (e.g., metal lathe, vertical mill).
• Certified welding experience in ARC, MIG, TIG is necessary.
• Pneumatic circuit fabrication and troubleshooting experience is required.
• At least two years’ experience with plastic material feed systems.
• Ability to correctly read blueprints and schematics is essential.
• Crane/rigging experience is needed.
• Basic knowledge of large material grinders is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance using the EAM system.
• Manage facility repairs and housekeeping tasks.
• Fabricate and install new equipment as needed.
• Lift heavy items and rig them as necessary.
• Work at heights as required.
• Complete other related duties as needed.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Millwright/Journeyman’s Ticket
• 5 years’ experience minimum in trade
• Industrial Maintenance Mechanic college diploma
• Machine shop tool operation experience (metal lathe, and/or vertical mill, and/or drill press, and/or chop saws, etc.)
• Proven experience certified welding in ARC, MIG, TIG
• Pneumatic circuit fabrication and troubleshooting experience
• Minimum two years’ experience with plastic material feed systems including vacuum loaders and elutriation systems
• Ability to correctly read blueprints and schematics
• Crane/rigging experience
• Basic knowledge of large material grinders and operations
