Responsibilities

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • General housekeeping (garbage collection, sweeping, mopping, general cleanup)
  • Relocating light-duty trucks as required
  • Adhering to waste oil disposal protocols
  • Completing monthly fire extinguisher checks and documentation
  • Reorganizing and structuring the yard (relocating wood and metal materials)
  • Organizing oil containers, consumables, stands, and palletized materials
  • Maintaining clear pathways and the parking lot (snow and debris removal, applying ice melt)
  • Monitoring and refueling generators, light plants, heaters, wash bay, and trucks
  • Cleaning wash pads and the wash bay area
  • Assisting with equipment and light-duty vehicle washing as needed
  • Setting up heaters, tenting, and tarps for cold weather conditions
  • Plugging in equipment (light plants, skid steer, loader, etc.) and completing pre-use inspections
  • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure efficiency.
  • Champion our safety culture by adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies.
  • Demonstrate your versatility by collaborating effectively with team members and independently taking ownerships of tasks.

  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a labourer.
  • Must have a valid class 5 driver’s license, and a clean 3-year abstract.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Alcohol, Drug and Fit to Work testing is a pre-employment requirement.
  • Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
  • Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive, Bear Awareness (in class), H2S Alive or Awareness.
  • Provide your own CSA Approved safety boots that are a minimum of 6" high and fully laceable.
Working Conditions
  • Embrace the elements by working outdoors in all weather conditions. Whether it\'s rain, shine, or snow, you\'ll need to thrive in diverse weather environments.
  • Expect to handle noise and vibrations on the job.
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
  • Must be able to work day or night shifts.
