Job description
Maintenance Electrician - Night Shift

Payrate: $44.66/hr, plus a $4.00/hr premium for working night shift.

Night shift: 10:30 pm to 7:30 am, Monday to Friday. Overtime will be required on some weekends.

Applicants must be comfortable working around meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.).

KEY REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be a Licensed Electrician. Proof of apprenticeship is an asset.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Setup, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our food processing and packaging equipment.
  • Understand and maintain Packaging and Process Control Systems.
  • Electrical equipment (troubleshooting & repair).
  • Electrical equipment installations in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide support to source and prepare parts for all preventative and reactive work.
  • Prepare basic dimensioned sketches.
  • Read and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions, and blueprints.
  • Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual electrical & mechanical PMs.
