Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Quinte West, Ontario, is seeking full-time Machine Operators to support the production group and ensure safety in all operations. Ideal candidates should have a Grade 12 education and strong communication skills, with a willingness to advance to Operator level. Responsibilities include resolving equipment issues and maintaining quality control. On-the-job training will be provided and applicants must be over 18 years of age. Job description

For over 100 years ANAMET has been the manufacturer and supplier of Anaconda Sealtite conduit systems, Firetech heat protection systems and ANA-QUICK Nylon conduit system assemblies for the industry.

Located in Frankford, ANAMET is seeking FULL TIME Machine Operators

Job Duties:
  • Ensure safety is a fundamental part of your everyday approach to work
  • Support the production group in all areas of manufacturing processes and facilities to ensure continuous operations
  • Promptly respond to equipment related issues in a professional and positive manner providing solutions to routine or unique equipment problems
Qualifications:
  • Ability to effectively use measuring devices and document readings
  • Forklift experience an asset but not required
  • Grade 12 education or equivalency
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing practices, oxygen/acetylene brazing, metalwork or extrusion an asset but not required
  • Willingness to advance to Operator level
  • Ability to lift, bend, grip, push, pull and carry various items
  • Attention to detail for quality control and documentation
  • Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity skills, and ability to multitask
Additional Information:
  • Must have ability to work 8 hour shifts
  • Ability to work M.A.D rotation
  • On-the-job training
  • Must be over 18 years of age
