The Health, Wealth, and Mobility team thrives to continually enhance our employee experience. Our global Health, Wealth, and Mobility portfolio consists of compensation, health benefits, retirement programs, leaves & accommodations, wellness programs, mobility and immigration, and a number of other important components of the employee total rewards offering and experience. The Senior Director, Health & Benefits reports to the Vice President Health, Wealth and Mobility.

core responsibilities
  • As a member of the total rewards leadership team, contribute to the development of the total rewards philosophy, strategy, and operating plan
  • Lead the development of overall benefits strategy and multi-year roadmap
  • Determine annual priorities, plans, and associated budget for the global benefits team
  • Lead the operation of our global retirement plans including 401K and RRSP
  • Manage and maintain our health benefits portfolio including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, disability, AD&D, CI, life Insurance, health screening, travel medical, and time off programs
  • Partner with benefits consultants on plan design, vendor selection and vendor management of carriers and third-party benefit administrators
  • Provide day to day leadership of direct reports including 1:1s, performance reviews, goal coaching, recruitment and orientation of new team members in order to maximize performance and development and to create a succession pipeline
  • Regularly review the education and communication materials of our programs and their effectiveness, to ensure that our programs are being understood by our employees and leaders
qualifications
  • ~15 years’ of progressively complex experience working across a benefits and wellness portfolio, ideally in a multi-national environment
  • Experience in large, growing direct-to-consumer organizations, with diverse employee populations globally
  • Proven track‑record for designing and delivering multi‑faceted total rewards programs at a global scale
  • Experience in diagnosing benefits programs competitiveness, policy design and process development
  • Strong business acumen and agility
  • Requires the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders within and outside of people & culture
  • Superior analytical skills; strong working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems
  • Seasoned in selecting and optimizing vendor relationships
  • Educated to Bachelors degree level, or equivalent experience

compensation and benefits package

Lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $187,400-$246,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and equity offerings, subject to program eligibility requirements.
