A supportive living care home in Red Deer County, Alberta is seeking a passionate and dedicated LPN Care Team Supervisor to join our team. This is a unionized care home with excellent benefits and a supportive leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the healthcare of all residents, including communication with families and staff.
  • Assist the Nursing Leadership Team with medication management, including administration and ordering.
  • Provide direct supervision of care provided by LPNs and Care Aides.
  • Foster a homelike atmosphere for residents.
  • Ensure all residents are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Train and educate care team and nursing staff on an ongoing basis.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Completion of Practical Nurse program from an accredited educational institution.
  • Full scope of practice Licensed Practical Nurse with membership in good standing with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta.
  • Minimum of two years experience supervising care delivery in a supportive living care environment.
  • Strong desire to enhance the lives of seniors.
  • Computer literate and familiar with electronic health records.
  • Current and clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
