Logistics and Transportation Coordinator – 6-Week Contract (Logistics & Transportation)

Contract: Mid-October Start | Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Are you a proactive and detail-driven customer service professional with a background in logistics and transportation? Do you have hands-on experience with the Greater Vancouver Container Dock reservation system? If so, we’d love to hear from you!

We’re looking for an experienced Logistics & Transportation Coordinator to join the team for a 6-week contract assignment starting mid-October. In this fast-paced and essential role, you’ll be a key point of contact for clients—coordinating shipments, resolving inquiries, and ensuring the seamless movement of goods across Canada and beyond.

What You'll Do:
  • Coordinate domestic and international shipments (LTL, import/export), ensuring on-time delivery and tracking accuracy
  • Manage customer orders end-to-end, including order entry, tracking, arranging returns, securing Proof of Delivery, and preparing invoices
  • Serve as the primary liaison for assigned customers—answering questions, resolving issues, and nurturing strong relationships
  • Monitor the customer service email inbox and respond to inquiries promptly, resolving discrepancies between waybills and purchase orders
  • Maintain accurate and organized customer records across warehouse and transportation systems
What You Bring:
  • Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience with the Greater Vancouver Container Dock reservation system – please note this is a required skill
  • Minimum 1+ year of recent logistics/transportation customer service experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • A solution-oriented mindset and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment
