Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and independent individual to join our North American operations team. The successful candidate will be able work on their own while maintaining an organized and efficient work environment. The position will be an in office role, Monday to Friday, with exact hours to be determined. The successful candidate must maintain a can-do attitude and thrive on delivering client service. Attention to detail is key, and ownership of your work is highly valued. In this role you will receive mentorship and the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of Liberate.

Reporting To: Solutions Supervisor & CEO

Location: In Office

Work Hours: Flexible

Core Responsibilities:
  • Design logistics solutions for new and existing clients
  • Develop a strong relationship with each client and become our champion with the client
  • Effectively negotiate and communicate with both senior executives and shippers at various companies
  • Examine new avenues of business with clients
  • Resolve conflicts with clients with the support of management
  • Collaborate with different internal departments and key team members to ensure standard of client care is achieved
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing action items to maintain a high level of customer service
  • Assist clients in completing credit applications with Liberate Logistics, coordinate and manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management
  • Utilize TMS system to track and analyze data related to shipments, inventory, and customer orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
  • Procure transportation services from Trucking Companies, SSLs, NVOCCs (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carriers) and other logistics providers
  • Monitor and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, and other logistics-related information
  • Be a brand ambassador for Liberate both on the road and in the community
  • Additional responsibilities as required by Liberate Logistics
Requirements:
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in using TMS systems
  • Previous experience in logistics or supply chain management required.
  • Must possess 2 years of Third Party Logistics Experience
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
