Qualifications

things you will do...
  • Oversee all transportation operations, including scheduling, tracking, and coordinating domestic and international shipments
  • Manage relationships, negotiate tariffs, and select carriers and 3PL partners
  • Develop and execute 3PL and transportation strategies in collaboration with senior supply chain leadership
  • Ensure accurate documentation for customs, imports/exports, and daily shipping activity
  • Monitor shipment status, delivery performance, and compliance with service-level expectations
  • Evaluate and approve freight rates, invoices, and related costs; identify cost‑saving opportunities
  • Maintain logistics KPIs, analyze transportation data, and implement process improvements
  • Coordinate with internal teams—including order management, project management, and installation—to ensure timely product delivery
  • Resolve transportation, customer, and carrier issues promptly
  • Supervise and train logistics staff to meet accuracy, productivity, and timeliness goals
  • Maintain customer records and reconcile carrier‑related deductions or refunds
  • Other duties may be assigned.
