The Local Client Manager (LCM) is responsible for managing and growing existing customer relationships within the Technology & Industrial vertical. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving wallet share expansion, and supporting the growth of non-ocean logistics offerings such as Contract Logistics, Ground Freight (FTL & LTL), and Supply Chain Services. The LCM acts as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, ensuring commercial success and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities – Account Management & Growth
  • Manage a portfolio of existing customers within the Technology & Industrial vertical.
  • Develop account plans to increase share of wallet across ocean and logistics & services (L&S).
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities in Contract Logistics, Ground Freight, and Supply Chain Services.
  • Ensure timely renewal of contracts and maintain competitive pricing strategies.
Customer Satisfaction
  • Serve as the primary contact for operational and commercial escalations.
  • Monitor and improve Net Promoter Score (NPS) for assigned accounts.
  • Act on customer feedback to enhance service delivery and strengthen relationships.
Commercial Delivery
  • Achieve revenue and profit targets for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with product teams to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Support pricing and local charge strategies in alignment with area guidelines.
Stakeholder Management
  • Work closely with Customer Service, Finance Business Partner (FBP), and Product teams.
Required Experience & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3–5 years of external sales or account management experience in transportation and logistics.
  • Strong understanding of ocean and non-ocean logistics products.
  • Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $90,000-$115,000 CAD

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
