Litigation Team Lead (Hybrid Remote)

Our Client, a dynamic and growing law firm located in downtown Toronto, is seeking a confident Litigation Team Lead to join their busy office. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on litigation work and leadership, supporting a team in a fast-paced but collaborative environment. You’ll receive full in-office training to get you up to speed, with the flexibility to work from home up to two days a week once fully onboarded. Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines
  • Draft clear and precise affidavits
  • Prepare and organize instruction worksheets for efficient case management
  • Monitor and enforce strict litigation deadlines and procedural requirements
  • Conduct thorough file reviews to maintain accuracy and compliance
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on file status through email and case management systems
  • Manage and execute online court filings and document submissions

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation experience, including Superior Court and Small Claims
  • Strong affidavit drafting skills with keen attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Family Law an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently and take initiative as a self-starter
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Office suite
