Essential Responsibilities
  • Operate long‑line white and yellow painting systems, mobile impact attenuators, and perform back‑filling tasks as needed
  • Conduct and document quality control inspections during painting operations
  • Ensure all work meets specifications and safety standards
  • Assist in maintaining Alberta Provincial Highways for seasonal or year‑round operations
Qualifications
  • Experience with paint truck operations, loading procedures, and maintenance is an asset
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (Class 1 or 3 with air endorsement is an asset)
  • Clear 3‑year driver’s abstract required
  • Knowledge of provincial and municipal highway maintenance specifications is an asset
Work Conditions
  • Start date April 13th - Spring/Summer Seasonal work: April‑October
  • 12 - 14 hrs/day
  • Travel, shift work, on‑call availability, and night shifts required during operating months
  • Comprehensive role‑specific training provided

  • Work locations span provincial and municipal highways across Alberta
  • Preference give to local candidates due to the work locations
