Position Overview

Senior Helpers is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team on a casual basis. This role is ideal for nurses who value flexibility while making a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and their families. As part of our in-home care team, you will provide professional nursing support, promote wellness, and ensure the highest standard of care in a warm, respectful environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, client-centered nursing care in accordance with professional standards and company policies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and document clients’ health status, reporting changes promptly.
  • Support seniors with daily living activities while fostering dignity and independence.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality.
  • Contribute to a positive, supportive team culture.
Qualifications
  • Current registration and good standing with the BCCNM (British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives).
  • Valid CPR/First Aid certification.
  • Experience in senior care, community health, or home care preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varying client needs.
  • Compassion, patience, and respect for seniors and their families.
