Job summary

A local library in Quebec is seeking a Library Assistant I to work 29 hours a week at the Acton Memorial Library. Qualifications

  • One year direct work experience with the Public and working with computers.
  • Must stand, bend, stoop, and reach throughout significant portions of a 4-8 hour shift.
  • Prior experience in an automated library is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Shelving and shelf reading materials.
  • Checking materials in and out and issuing library cards.
  • Assisting in programs and answering phone calls.
