Arobas Personnel is looking for a Level 2 IT Systems & Networking Assistant for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal.

What will your day-to-day look like?

You’ll help drive the organization’s IT efficiency by designing, managing, and improving network and system environments. As a go-to expert, you’ll support end-users, lead improvement initiatives, and collaborate on key IT infrastructure projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Configure, maintain, and enhance system and network architecture.
• Provide Level 2 technical support in coordination with the IT support desk.
• Actively contribute to infrastructure upgrade and improvement projects.
• Write and update technical documentation and procedures.
• Advise internal teams and share your expertise across the organization.
• Monitor technological developments in systems and networking.
• Be recognized by peers as a go-to resource and willingly share your knowledge.

What we’re looking for:

• University degree in IT or equivalent experience.
• 5–9 years of relevant experience in infrastructure and system administration.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365
  • Networking (VLANs, OSPF, ARP, switches, routers, Fortinet)
  • Protocols (DHCP, DNS, 802.11, 802.1x, SSL, TLS, ACLs)
  • Group Policy (GPO)
• Familiarity with MS SQL and Oracle databases (an asset).
• Recognized certifications (MCSE, MCP, CCNA, Network+) are a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
• Organized, detail-oriented, curious, and stress-resilient.
• Willingness to travel when needed.
