Salary Range: $63,937.42 - $79,921.77 per annum + 8% vacation pay. Placement within the range is typically between the minimum and midpoint and based on qualifications and experience, subject matter expertise, and internal equity, with consideration for how the candidate is developing, meets, or exceeds the role’s requirements.

The Sergeant-at-Arms department is seeking an organized, proactive, and discerning individual for the auxiliary full-time position of Administrative Coordinator.
Reporting to the Sergeant-at-Arms, the Administrative Coordinator provides administrative, planning, and logistical support to the Sergeant-at-Arms and Sergeant-at-Arms Leadership team and must organize and carry out required duties to ensure that all matters are handled with efficiency and in an effective manner. The position acts as the primary contact for the Sergeant-at-Arms on a range of issues and serves as an important link between the Sergeant-at-Arms and various departments and groups within the Legislative Assembly, as well as liaison with external partners. The position oversees critical Chamber support services including coordinating Chamber seating plans, liaison with Sessional supervisors, House document distribution, and reservations systems for Question Period tickets and committee room bookings. It plays an integral role in the department’s budget processes, and in the management and oversight of non-Legislative events such as conferences and Youth Parliaments.
