An Ontario-based professional association is seeking a Legal Coordinator to support the Office of the General Counsel. With Our General Counsel
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a LegalCoordinator who will be responsible for assisting and supporting the in‑house Office of the General Counsel with litigation matters, financial analysis, and administrative support.
A post‑secondary graduate with a university degree in Business or related discipline and/or a Legal Office Administrative diploma, Law Clerk diploma, or paralegal studies preferred; experience in a legal or regulatory environment is also preferred.
Skilled at reading and understanding business and legal documents and able to handle administrative tasks with ease with a keen eye for detail.
Experienced with accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, monthly accruals and variance analysis.
An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with advanced grammar and business writing abilities.
A highly organized professional, able to manage multiple tasks, meet competing deadlines and prioritize work in a fast‑paced environment.
A personable relationship builder – able to effortlessly interact with a wide number of internal and external professionals while remaining discreet with sensitive and confidential matters.
Technically savvy and knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint and Teams and ideally have experience with Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce.
