The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the University Health Network (UHN)/Sinai Health (SH) is seeking to recruit a Clinician Teacher with expertise in clinical care and teaching in general endocrinology, with a special interest in thyroid oncology, for a permanent position. Advanced training, experience and a record of accomplishment are required. The successful applicant will provide exemplary teaching for trainees rotating through the service from Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
The successful applicant must be eligible for a full‑time clinical academic appointment with a minimum rank of Lecturer/Assistant Professor. The effective start date is July 1st, 2026, or a mutually agreeable date. The combined division of Endocrinology at UHN/Sinai Health (SH) consists of 27 full‑time members and additional affiliate members located across all UHN and SH sites, with active clinical and research programs across the full breadth of endocrinology and metabolism. The candidate should have appropriate experience and a record of accomplishment or advanced training in the specified clinical expertise, enabling the development and maintenance of an active teaching and clinical program.
The applicant must hold MD and FRCPC qualifications (or equivalent specialist designation) and be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. Academic rank, salary and contractual arrangements will be commensurate with the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. Estimated remuneration is in the range of $195,000 – $250,000 per year.
