The Opportunity:

Agentis Capital Markets (Mining) is seeking an institutional sales person to be responsible for developing and executing a proactive marketing / capital raising strategy targeting institutional fund managers, with a focus on metals and mining capital markets. You will actively contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with the broader corporate business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture deep, long-term relationships with key institutional clients.

  • Capital Raising: Identity and target potential investors, presenting and closing investment opportunities.

  • Collaboration with Internal Teams: Partner with internal stakeholders, including the investment banking and equity research teams, to align capital raising and relationship strategies with the firm's broader business objectives.

Key Contributions:
  • Track record of building and maintaining institutional client relationships across the mining sector.

  • Strong business development orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively.

  • Exposure to, or a desire to deepen expertise in, mining capital markets.

  • In-depth understanding of the mining institutional client space.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience in mining equity sales or mining equity research is required.

  • CFA designation is preferred.
