Overview

We are currently hiring a Landscape and Snow Division Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong operational experience to oversee crews all year round.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Landscape Maintenance and Snow Division
• Able to oversee multiple landscaping crews at various locations
• Service company’s clientele with a customer first always attitude
• Flexibility required to accommodate daily and seasonal business needs
• Ability to motivate employees and provide a positive work environment
• Orientation and training of new personnel when required
• Experience withSnow Removal Operationsin a commercial setting
• Ability to handle the operation, scheduling and dispatching of employees and company equipment during all four seasons
• Ability to identify training opportunities and areas of improvement among the team
• Ensure employees adhere to company policies and procedures
• Respond to customer enquiries, concerns and/or complaints making sure they receive exceptional service and resolution in a timely fashion
• Actively pursuing the acquisition of new clients
• Develop strong customer relationships with new and existing clients through regular communication
• Create new contracts and track existing customer contract renewals to ensure retention
• Ability to provide landscape maintenance and snow removal estimates
• Attend regular meetings with property managers and board members as required
• Always working in an ethical manner
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Supervisor in a Commercial Landscape Maintenance/Snow Removal position
• Knowledge and experience with commercial snow removal operations and lawn maintenance
• Horticulture education and experience
• Ensure that vehicles and equipment are maintained and serviced
• Ability to be diplomatic and skilled with negotiations to handle various situations
• Proven ability to professionally and confidently manage staff
• Willingness and ability to travel between multiple sites as needed
• G License and clean drivers abstract required
• Exceptional communication skills – verbal and written
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy required
• Strong work ethic – reliable and punctual
• Able to assume responsibility and have a flexible team-player attitude
• Previous experience operating maintenance equipment
