Job description

The salary range for this position is $52,000 - $65,000 which will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Management
  • Design, implement, and manage the organization’s local and wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.
  • Configure and optimize network devices, ensuring high-performance and reliability for industrial applications.
End User Support
  • Provide responsive and effective technical support to end-users, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Collaborate with users to understand their needs and tailor solutions that enhance their productivity.
Industrial IT Project Contribution
  • Actively participate in industrial IT projects, contributing expertise to design and implement technology solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IT solutions into industrial processes, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to both network infrastructure and industrial IT systems.
  • Updates data severs and network equipment.
  • Collaborates with network architects on network optimization.
  • Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies and defining and monitoring access.
  • Maximizes performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.
  • Work closely with project teams to troubleshoot and optimize IT components in industrial environments
Hardware and Software Integration
  • Assist in the integration of industrial-specific hardware and software solutions, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement and support industrial automation systems.
Documentation and Training
  • Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, industrial IT systems, and support procedures.
  • Develop training materials for end-users and contribute to the knowledge base for ongoing support and project handovers.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an IT Technician with a focus on network administration and industrial IT.
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols, industrial automation, and cybersecurity in industrial settings.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or relevant industrial IT certifications are highly desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
