Job description

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at CGI/Client office at a minimum 4 days per week - subject to change at any time. We are seeking a seasoned Kofax / TTA Development Lead to design, develop, and lead enterprise‑grade document automation solutions using Kofax TotalAgility (TTA), Kofax Capture, Transformation Modules, and Intelligent Document Processing (IDP). The ideal candidate will drive end‑to‑end workflow design—from ingestion and classification to extraction, validation, exception handling, and integration with ECM/BPM systems—while ensuring performance, security, and compliance in regulated environments. Experience integrating GenAI/LLM capabilities into document workflows is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Solution Leadership: Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of Kofax TTA‑based document automation solutions, setting standards for scalability, resilience, and maintainability.
  • Workflow Implementation: Build and optimize workflows for document classification, data extraction, validation, exception handling, and orchestration across capture‑to‑ECM/BPM integrations.
  • Integration & APIs: Develop robust integrations using REST APIs, JSON/XML, and connectors to enterprise systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data integrity.
  • GenAI & AI Enablement: Incorporate LLM‑driven capabilities (summarization, entity extraction, conversational search, document understanding) into document processing pipelines.
  • Quality & Performance: Conduct performance tuning, optimize OCR/ICR pipelines, and implement monitoring/alerting for production workloads.
  • Security & Compliance: Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise security standards, regulatory requirements (e.g., financial services controls), and audit readiness with comprehensive documentation.
  • DevOps & CI/CD: Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines, source control practices, and containerization where applicable; promote automation across build, test, and deployment.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor junior developers, review code and design, enforce best practices, and contribute to capability building within the team.
  • Support & Operations: Provide L3 production support, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement across the solution lifecycle.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and deliver consistent, measurable outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of overall IT experience, with 5+ years hands‑on in Kofax TotalAgility (TTA) including Kofax Capture, Transformation Modules, and IDP.
  • Demonstrated expertise to design, develop, lead, and support Kofax TTA workflows, covering classification, extraction, validation, exception handling, and end‑to‑end capture‑to‑ECM/BPM integrations.
  • 2+ years integrating Generative AI / AI/ML services (LLMs, document understanding, summarization, entity extraction, conversational search) into document workflows.
  • Languages & Scripting: JavaScript, .NET, C#, Python.
  • Platforms & Tools: Kofax TotalAgility, Kofax Capture, Kofax RPA, OCR/ICR, REST APIs, JSON/XML.
  • Cloud & DevOps: Azure/AWS/GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Git; Docker (nice to have).
  • Strong background in banking or regulated environments, with hands‑on knowledge of security, compliance, performance tuning, production support, documentation, and mentoring.
  • Experience with document taxonomy design, rules engines, and advanced exception management strategies.
  • Familiarity with ECM platforms (e.g., FileNet, SharePoint, OpenText) and BPM/Workflow suites.
  • Exposure to observability (logging, tracing, metrics) and SRE practices for high‑availability systems.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes) in enterprise settings.
  • Certifications in Kofax TotalAgility, cloud platforms, or AI/ML toolchains.
