Rebound Health is hiring a Kinesiologist!

Role Description

The position is responsible for supporting the physiotherapists and owners by helping to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients where they can have their therapeutic needs met. You will be reporting directly to our physiotherapists, and to our lead Kinesiologist.

Some of your responsibilities include:

  • demonstrating and prescribing rehabilitation exercises
  • setting up and using modalities on patients
  • helping patients regain movement, increase resilience, and achieve health and wellness goals
  • cleaning of equipment and treatment beds

Your training will be provided by our lead Kinesiologist, who will discuss what will be expected of you in your role as Kinesiologist.

This is a 0.75 – 0.88 FTE position at our West Lethbridge location. Located inside the University of Lethbridge!

The hours of work offered will be:

  • Monday - Tuesday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Wednesdays 8:00 am – 12:00 pm
  • Thursdays alternating weeks 8:00 am – 12:00 pm or 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am – 3:00 pm

Start date will be February 1, 2026

Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in Kinesiology with demonstrated knowledge of human movement and biomechanics.
  • Knowledge of Physical Therapy and Exercise Therapy.
  • Ability to develop and implement tailored patient plans and perform physical assessments with precision.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and a commitment to promoting health and wellness.
  • Membership with the Alberta Kinesiology Association is a requirement of this position; however, we will also consider candidates who are in the process of applying or who are willing to apply upon hire.
