KIDSTRONG COACH
KidStrong Kleinburg is seeking enthusiastic and experienced coaches with a background in athletics, coaching, or pediatric development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children ages 15 months to 8 years old or possess pediatric occupational therapy (OT) or physical therapy (PT) experience. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong passion for child development, fitness, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and facilitate KidStrong classes using the established curriculum.
· Engage and communicate effectively with parents to educate them on the KidStrong methodology.
· Create a positive, high-energy environment that motivates and encourages children.
· Ensure safety and proper form in all physical activities and exercises.
· Support and contribute to team culture, assisting fellow coaches and leadership as needed.
· Maintain classroom structure and discipline to promote a constructive learning experience.
· Adhere to all KidStrong policies and procedures.

Experience:
· Prior coaching or teaching experience with young children (ages 15 months – 8 years).
· Background in athletics, fitness, early childhood education, or pediatric OT/PT preferred.
· Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise techniques, and body mechanics.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage both children and parents effectively.
· A positive, energetic, and motivating presence.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically active environment.

Work Schedule:
  • Weekdays: 9 AM - 12PM, 3PM - 7PM
  • Weekends: 8 AM - 7PM
Qualifications:
· Standard First Aid & CPR-C Certification
· Vulnerable Sector Check
· KidStrong Coach Certification (Provided upon hire - June 23, 24, 25 from 9:00am - 7:30pm)
