Lock Search Group is partnering with our client in the wine and spirits industry to recruit a proven sales professional to their team. We’re seeking a Key Account / Sales Manager with strong experience in the fine wine segment, capable of building and managing key account relationships while driving provincial sales performance.

The ideal candidate will bring a successful track record in key account management—preferably within fine wine—and a passion for delivering results through relationship-building, market insight, and execution excellence.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Key Account / Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with key accounts while overseeing provincial sales activities. You will develop and implement account strategies, drive distribution and promotional initiatives, and identify opportunities for growth across your territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with key accounts in the fine wine segment.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize volume, profit, and brand visibility.
  • Partner with accounts on promotional programs, merchandising initiatives, and staff training.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and consumer insights to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align on business objectives and share market feedback.
  • Manage territory expenses within budget and follow company policies on travel and entertainment.
  • Represent the company at industry events, tastings, and customer functions.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience with a focus on key account management.
  • Proven track record in the fine wine industry strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional customer relationship skills with strengths in communication, negotiation, and problem-solving.
  • Strong time management, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard business hours
  • Willingness to travel as required
