A charitable organization is seeking a Kettle Coordinator II for the Christmas season to oversee Kettle locations, supervise volunteers, and manage donations. The ideal candidate has customer service experience and excellent communication skills. This temporary role offers $17.33 to $21.66 per hour, with varying shifts of 20 hours per week.

POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to others. The Kettle Coordinator II position is a short-term contract role. The incumbent is responsible for oversight of several Christmas Kettle locations in a given geographical zone area. Zone locations include shopping malls, grocery stores and retail outlets.

Reports directly to the Corps Officer. Direct reports: none. Workflow coordinator.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications: Some high school coursework, completion of high school is an asset
Experience: One year of related experience or working in customer service; Money handling experience is an asset; Related experience is an asset
Skills and Capabilities: Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic Team Player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to lift 9 to 12 kgs (20 – 25 lbs). Strong customer service skills; enjoy liaising and working with people of all ages and abilities. Willingness to be flexible and work well under pressure with daily timelines and changing priorities. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in the handling of donor, volunteer, and organizational information.
This is a fixed term position for the Christmas season. Shifts vary, and will be 20 hours per week. Target pay range is $17.33 to $21.66 per hour.
Compensation: The target hiring range for this position is $17.33 to $21.66 with a maximum of $25.99. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
