Job Summary:

This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals beginning their career in quality assurance. As a Junior QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of our software products by identifying issues, executing test cases, and supporting our QA team in delivering exceptional software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and executing detailed test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product managers, to understand project requirements and provide feedback on potential issues.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning meetings, and other agile ceremonies to stay informed about project progress and changes.
  • Continuously learn and apply best practices in software testing and quality assurance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and defect reports.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a QA or testing role is a plus but not required. Internships or academic projects related to software testing will be considered.
  • Familiarity with programming or scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python) is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours:

  • Full-time position.
  • Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility may be required based on project needs.
